    Hi John,

have to agree about some of the better beers, the Slaapmutske East Kent Goldings was delicious as was the Den Triest Indian 369 and De Dochter van de Korenaar oak aged Embrasse

This was our fourth one and we notice your picture doesn’t show the hundreds of people in big coats and rucksacks making it difficult to get around the hall

We thought it was much more enjoyable when it was in late summer but that’s just us

Yes, you’re right about the crowds, notably by late efternoon on the first day. Not much use made of the outside courtyard as it was so bitterly cold (even for Bruges in February). Unfortunately the organisers have agreed with the local authorities to hold it at the same time for the next four years so looks like we are stuck with that.. I’ve already got my hotel booked.
